How can we discover what is important to us? Some people call it finding our passion. Other people call it identifying what we value most. Some ideas for questions include: “If time and money were no object what would I do?’ “What activities give me the most joy?” “When and where do I fill the most fulfilled?” “What job or activities would I do even if I did not get paid?” “What are at least three times in my life thus far where I experienced the most passion and joy?” “Who do I know that is doing something you would like to do?” “How would I make the world a better place?” With these questions look for a theme or even a common feeling that sparks some passion. Then begin to try on some things for how they really feel. If the clarity does not come immediately, don’t be hard on yourself but let it percolate and come back to this another day or week.

Make a plan to read more on something that seems to light your fire, find mentors in an area that interests you. If your love for that continues to grow, then you will know you’re headed in the right direction. If you find your interest wanes, go back and look for other themes of a passion or ask questions again. You may find your vehicle for achieving your dreams is not about child welfare for example but if you find a home based business that is simple and allows you to create the income to reach your dream, you will be motivated to stay with the process.

Already, my marketing antenna were up, so I checked out the two programs being promoted.  The main one was called Your Google Income and the companion program that you just had to do as well or the first one wouldn’t work, was Fast Twitter Profits.

Now I am not saying that these are bad programs.  It is possible that by combining the two, you can actually make money.  However, the fact that this type of trickery was used to promote them as an income opportunity from home gives rise to many doubts in my mind.

These doubts were further confirmed when, checkin my history for the “article and clicking onto it, I was taken to a completely different story with a whole new look and feel published on what looked to be a blog, of a young man from San Antonio, TX who was also making money by combining the same two programs.

Apparently, and this is no small coincidence, he too had lost his boring job as a manufacturing rep.  However, now he is bringing on over $50,000 per month.  Amazing.

The comments on his “blog” were also disabled due to spam, but at least the times and dates had been omitted and the comments looked more natural.
