I am not able to find a job at the moment. I am trying to make an income from home. I don’t want to do surveys cause of personal reasons. Is there anything that I can do to make some money from home? I have tried Ebay but I don’t see myself making any money. Is there anything else that I can do? Please help me out. And remember, NO SURVEYS!!! Thanks for your help!

Perhaps you have not given much thought to how to develop your income from home mindset, but let me tell you, it is one of the most important things you can ever do, whether you are just starting or not.

Oftentimes, we get so busy that we forget that the kind of people we are comes across in everything we do. Are you stressed out all of the time? First of all, you absolutely must let go of the frenzied feeling. Don’t get sucked in by urgency of the messages you are receiving in your inbox. Unsubscribe from Junk Email Lists–keep only the most valuable ones and save them in folders to go through them once per week.

Next, write write down your goals–long term and short 3 month, 6 month, 1 year, and 5 years in columns. For instance, you can have a website built and ready to monetize in 3 months. These should occur in a methodical, logical sequence, revealing a step-by-step plan of action, including the skills you need to develop and the processes you need to learn.

Set a Schedule–days per week, and hours per day that you will commit to working on your business.

Do Not Get Distracted–Turn off IM, Email, Phones while you are engaged in content creation, including crafting your own promotional email messages.

Deal with Frustration–it’s normal. try listening to music or exercising. Balance your work time with time with family and pets. Make sure you are getting the read you need for optimum performance, even if that means taking an afternoon power nap.

Reading forum posts and answering questions to help other people with their problems is another way to relieve tension (and build links to your website as a side benefit). If you still find it difficult to relax, walk away for a while and come back to it with a fresh perspective.

Be Accountable–working with someone else is a great way to do this. Have a study buddy. This works best if you are working with a team, since then you have multiple accountability partners built in to everything you do.

Most importantly, make sure that you keep the “You, Inc” in your business. No one wants to deal with companies–they want to deal with people. Your personality and how you communicate with others is the key to your success, so let yourself shine!

There is much talk these days about how to make an income from home.  My inbox is stuffed to capacity every day with messages containing the latest and greatest offers for “the best income opportunity.”  So, how do you make heads or tails of it?

My best advice is to be open at first, especially if you have never ventured into the uncharted territory of working from home.  You do not want to miss out on something that would really work well for you just because you have never heard of it.  There will be plenty of time for laser focus down the road.  For now, you want to keep your options open.

The next thing is, once you find something that seems to be a good fit, learn as much about it as you possibly can.  If that means acquiring some books or training courses, than by all means, invest in yourself and in your future.  You will never regret the education you will receive.  It will always benefit you in the long run and make you a more valuable person in the end.  Translation: you will make a larger income from home.

Even as you start doing the work of your newly found wealth-building vehicle, keep learning.  The world, and the internet, is constantly changing.  You want to stay ahead of those changes so that you can incorporate them into your plan–or hedge against them as necessary.
